Accelerating #ActionOnFood
COP27: Many ‘firsts’ for food systems
COP27 saw many firsts for food systems, including:
- The first ever Food Systems Pavilion and at least four other food-related Pavilions
- The first ever Agriculture Day hosted by the COP Presidency
- Food and agriculture featuring in the final COP27 cover text
We’re thrilled to be back as the Food Systems Partnership to accelerate #ActionOnFood in 2023 and beyond.
We are mobilising to ensure that urgent food systems transformation is at the heart of negotiations and will be a top priority at COP28.
The Partnership is continuing to consolidate co-hosts for the next Food Systems Pavilion and unify stakeholders across the food and climate movements and spanning the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, from farmers and youth to policy makers and scientists.
Say hello over on our Twitter and LinkedIn channel and keep an eye out for some exciting announcements coming soon…
