Activating future generations for success
Skilling, reskilling and upskilling play a critical role for designing, developing and deploying innovations. Yet, entrepreneurial skill development and empowerment of youth is lagging behind in many countries. Innovative approaches to skills development, such as Foodathons, provide opportunities for empowering the future generations, who want to be heard and be part of the food systems transformation. In this session, 10 students from Africa and Europe will pitch their solutions that are curated through a cross-continental Foodathon.
