Foodscapes: A Bridge to Building Regenerative Food Systems

19:0019:45

In the science report, Foodscapes: Toward Food System Transition, colleagues from The Nature Conservancy (TNC), the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) and SYSTEMIQ mapped the biophysical and management attributes of the world’s food production geographies, hoping to help turn analysis into a realistic vision of how we might meet food demands, improve ecosystem services and address the challenges of climate change. In this session, learn more about foodscapes and see two real-life examples of this systems-scale approach in Kenya’s Upper Tana River basin and Northwest India.
