Transforming our Food value chains to Sustainable Food Systems requires also sustainability for Nutrition. But, what is intended for Sustainable Nutrition? What are the components of Sustainable Nutrition? Is it an extremely difficult goal, perhaps even unreachable? Is it possible to pay the price for environmentally sustainable nutrition?.
Building bridges between Science and Stakeholders:
Can Science provide policy makers clear evidence for sustainable nutrition to guide decisions?.
Can Science help food companies to provide scenarios to better understand global production and trade?.
Transformation to Sustainable Nutrition landscape needs:
Collaboration among skateholders,
Scientific evidence on what makes individual foods and dietary patterns both sustainable and nutritious,
And the involvement of several components in the actions needed to implement food systems that deliver “sustainable nutrition”.
